Don’t let the old school style dissuade you — this is one of the absolute best RPGs on iOS. I got 50+ hours out of this game and enjoyed virtually every minute of it. The world is incredibly fun to explore, and the decisions you make are weighty and have real consequences. I truly thought the developers Avernum series couldn’t be topped, but Geneforge is even better.
I used to play this as a kid, and having it on the iPad is so convenient. All the Geneforges 1-5 are great
I own and have played every single one of spiderweb’s games on PC. If you enjoy isometric RPGs but wished you had more freedom these games are it. 5 stars based on dev and their library alone, but will update this review with this specific iteration once I’ve progressed a ways.
