Northwest Mobile Banking

I really love having Northwest as my main bank. Everyone is so kind when you enter any of their branches. I use to be an undercover person for NW. Filling out paperwork about employees mailing it in and actually getting paid. It was great . Going into the bank and pretending to need help for different things like buying a house, asking about savings and other things. I know that Northwest is a wonderful Bank. And I’m glad that they look out for my account for any suspicious behavior that could be going on. I feel comfortable and safe that my earnings are in the care of NW…( The bank may have been under Lorain National Bank when I did my undercover work:) But that just says how long I have been with the bank.

I have another bank I’ve been using for 30 years. There website is not as easy and accommodating as the Northwest site. That bank frequently has messages about having problems, or “can’t do that at this time”. Tonight I wanted to make aa extra payment against the principle on my home loan. The option of pay against principle came up as part of the process. Then there was the message about they can’t do it immediately -which was followed by “but you can schedule it”. Cool. Scheduled it for two days from now. One stop, and all is set.

Seriously, I don’t have a problem with the bank itself but the newest update to the app is seriously the opposite of “more convenient.” Of course, I had to go through the hoops to log back into my account. Fine, whatever, I expect that at least once a year. Now the app is slower with reading whatever links I click on to, as if I didn’t even click on the link. To make it even more frustrating, I can not rotate the page at all. Which is far more inconvenient than you might think. I do not use the app on my phone, if I did, I guess that would be fine. I use my iPad for all that stuff. It is not at all user friendly to not be able to set my iPad on its keyboard stand when I’m trying to reference between my checkbook and online bank statement. Please fix the issue, but without making more issues in the process.
