I believe that Popcorn is about to be the next big thing! This app can be used for a variety of occassions. This app provides a variety of uses since it can be casual and more for fun but it can also be used for meetings. This app allows easy asynchronous communication and is especially useful during this pandemic so that people can continue to communicate on their own time effectively without time difference issues. This app is similar to Snapchat and zoom however it makes communication/meetings even easier since it is on your own time.

With the world switching to remote learning and workflow, this app is a must have! Having a video (or voice!) chat room where you can talk at your own time but still hear everyones input, and repeat it as many times as you need, is fantastic for asynchronous work and learning. This is basically like snapchat but with saved videos and also like zoom because it could be used for meetings. Also, the app is very smooth and clean, very professional.

Popcorn is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and it’s got huge potential for becoming one of the main workflow apps out there alongside zoom and slack. The asynchronous feature is a huge bonus when trying to get everyone’s perspective and input when not everyone can get together at the same time. Typing out emails can be obsolete when you have Popcorn, I definitely recommend it to anyone frustrated with coordinating meetings or just tired of inefficient email chains, you won’t regret it. Not only that, but it’s perfect for social use as well, especially for a big friend group! Love it.
