Card Games by Bicycle

I’m giving this 5 stars because so much of it is better than most other card games I’ve played. The only one I’m having a problem with is Euchre. The first thing [and I have to say it’s only my opinion] is the rule where when the bid goes around twice the dealer has to name trump. This reduces the game to one of pure luck and a skillfully played game can be won or lost based solely on luck.I would love to see this changed to being able to pass and throw the deal in. Other than that the game strategically plays better than any I’ve downloaded, and I havent missed any! I’m so finding it very confusing following the dealing and bidding because it goes soooo fast. I find myself having to study the board before playing just to see who dealt, what trump is and who named it. Also the names identifying the players are placed closer to the opponent than the actual player. I can live with these things because everything else about this is app is the best but I’m hoping these things will be taken into consideration, especially if there ore others agreeing with me. I’ve gotten hooked on gin rummy and again I love how it plays. I only wish I could arrange my cards as I’m playing. It’s difficult to know what to draw or discard when the cards in my hand are so mixed up.

Edit: changed from five to three stars because every time there's an update or a certain amount of time passes (I am unsure of which), it logs me out of my bicycle account and I have to log back in. It's a very "first world" problem, but it gets highly annoying when it occurs not two hours after exiting the app. 99% of apps now keep you signed in until you delete and redownload the app (and even then, if you just offload the app itself and not the data, you still remain logged in). If they fix this issue, which I'm unsure if other people are even having, I'll change my review back. But until then I'm going to lower my star rating and delete the app because it's frustrating. I play solitaire a ridiculous amount, both with physical cards and through apps or websites. I was recently shown this app from a relative and I'll never need another app again; this is the OFFICIAL solitaire app if I've ever seen it! No ads, though I wouldn't be opposed to them, smooth gameplay, and I can listen to music while using the app. What more could I ask for? Maybe gin and 500 rummy, but at least one of those is coming soon, so I'm stoked! I really hope this app doesn't end up being forgotten by Bicycle, because it's honestly perfect. The only downside is sometimes when playing solitaire, I move faster than the cards can handle, as the animation for moving a card is maybe a fraction of a second slow, and it misses my input. But that's a completely dull butter knife in the center of a mile-wide haystack. What a great app, and I mean it. Keep up the good work, y'all! I can't wait to see what the future holds for this app. :)

I love this app. Works great most of the time but it does need some improvement First, if it loses network connection orit says your idle for too long andit aske asks you if you would like to try again, you select yes, it just sits there trying to load and nothing happens. You have to clear the app then reopen it to make it work. Second, I only play the solitaire, since it’s a single player game. Not requiring any dealings with another player at all. In my opinion there should be no requirement for there to be an idle too long warning if you answer a text or phone call for example. Should be able to continue playing the current game. The same goes with the losing connection message. I should be able to play a single player only game without requiring an internet connection to the server. If connection is lost, the game should be able to update the server with required information upon reconnection. Third, not so much an annoying error or bug but it would be nice to have more single player game options such as spider solitaire or others. Fourth, the updated option of letting you know if there are no more moves available in solitaire does not work. I’m using the latest version of this app and the latest update of the iOS at the time of this posting. I’ve played multiple games on easy and hard and when there are no more possible options available, there is never a pop up or other alert saying there are no possible moves. I’ve never tried the other games since they are multiplayer so I can’t comment on those. Other than that, I still think it’s a great app.
