Ride Pingo

The Pingo app messes up horribly it glitches it makes false tickets wich get passengers in trouble it also allows other passengers to add people to their ticket wich is a danger if somebody being added to their ticket doesn’t know they are being added to their ticket wich can also get passengers in trouble the app also falsely cancels passengers rides wich creates a real problem and pickup and drop off times are not always accurate causing issues if somebody has an appointment to go to please fix these issues

The access and on demand transit is a great public service. The app itself while does the job, could be improved : 1) The map performance is sluggish and no ability to zoom and follow the ride is not a great experience. 2) The origin destination simply allows a point to point routing vs value added features such as offering a generic destination. It would be much better if it allowed me to select “take me to a grocery store” and it gave a few different grocery options along with the pick up and drop off times that could be accommodated based on where current vehicles are and where they are already routed to. 3) this is not exactly app related but the routing algorithms the system chooses doesn’t seem optimal to me. I have seen several vehicles pass me in the direction I am going that just take a different road. I could easily be routed on those vehicles instead of another vehicle coming just to pick me up. I hope the company does some additional user research to improve the overall efficiency of the service.

If you’re in a hurry, and would like to get to work on time in the morning, I would avoid Pingo, otherwise you would most likely end up late. Somehow I am under the impression that the driver in the early morning shift (around 6-6:30am, in my area) tried to avoid picking me up, as making a turn at a corner could be a bit challenging for him. I made the conclusion by tracking (multiple times) how he drove around in the area. I wish I were wrong! However, if you are going home from Kent Transition Station, Pingo is absolutely a great option, not only can you get home a lot quicker, but the drivers in the afternoon/evening shifts are professional, pleasant, with great attitude, and fun to ride with. Great experience with the pm drivers. Thank you Pingo!
