I can’t stress how great it is to have this app. On numerous occasions I have forgotten my key and have gone to my car. I’ll quickly remember to use the app to unlock my vehicle. I’ve also have forgotten to lock my car and I’ll use my app to lock it in case I don’t want to walk all the way back to my car. Also, on one occasion I saw someone too close to my vehicle and I used the horn and it scared them off. I was so happy to be able to deter them immediately from doing anything even remotely suspicious.

Some users including myself have experienced a problem with the remote start functionality in the recently upgraded app. Basically, when you press the start button the app asks for the car VIN #. When you provide and validate it, the app will give an error message indicating that the VIN is mapped to the same user.
Solution. Do not press the start button directly in the center. Instead press slightly offset below the center of the button. You may need to experiment a bit. But, this has worked every time for me.
The app appears to have a flaw so that pressing the start button directly does not register correctly. The other function buttons do not have this issue. An update is needed to fix the problem.

I would really like to give the app 5 stars but it can’t connect to my car as i live in the USA but my car was originally sold in Canada and then moved to the US. have to use web and that means no notification with is 90% of the value prop and then there is the very slow and poor experience of the website on a phone. The app store will not let me download Canadian version app and the US version app won’t work with my Qx80, why infiniti does this app distinction i can’t understand. Similarly the apple app store won’t let me download the Canadian version of the app without a valid Canadian address and Canadian credit card that matches the address!!! What is going on with so many stupid restrictions, a car is a car??? If laws prevent a feature from working then simply defeature or modify it but let 1 app work for all the world!

As of February 22, 2022, all INFINITI vehicles equipped with the 3G cellular network will be unable to connect to the 3G network and unable to access the INFINITI InTouch Services features. Clients who purchased an INFINITI vehicle with this type of hardware must have enrolled in INFINITI InTouch Services prior to June 1, 2021 to activate the service to have received access through February 22, 2022 (access is subject to cellular network availability and coverage limitations).
