Have edited my review to reflect the fixes put in place which have solved my problems. Well done for fixing but hopefully avoid messy launches in future. Standard app for viewing deals and points accrued, pretty and good functionality. [Since the recent update, the app appears to have broken. The different tabs of the app only open browser pages of their website, which defeats the point of the app. In addition, the functionality of being able to add the card to your Apple wallet has stopped working, and ‘share of the profits’ voucher barcodes don’t load, so can’t be used. Surprised the version was released if it’s this riddled with bugs/underdeveloped.]
The level of customer service I received trying to get this App up and running is appalling. Before you play your routine card of ‘are you sure it’s not another coop area’, it’s not us and get my review wiped I suggest you focus the same level of attention and enthusiasm on your customer service helpdesk rather than silencing genuine reviews. I called to try to get my coop card reissued as it’s been a while since I used it and I moved right next to a coop. The level of customer service I received was appalling. What I’d say is, nobody is forcing you to be in a customer service role, go and do something you enjoy because it’s clearly not for the two people I spoke to. No interest whatsoever, I ended up with an additional card that I didn’t want which I have to pay £1 to activate. Why would I pay if I already have a card on the system? I give up, your prices have skyrocketed anyway, out of principle it suits me as Aldi and Lidl are much better value with some quality stuff. In a way, thank you.
My partner works for co op and we logged out the app on my phone as we used to be able to use on both but was saying cannot use as logged in on another device. Fine so I logged out and he logged into his. Then we had new phones logged out and factory reset old phones tried to log in on new device and saying logged in on another device. It’s a joke he gets colleague benefits to use in store like discount and higher discount on pay weekend and we cannot use them! We are losing out on points building up and also the discount he is entitled too! Should have a website so we can log in and remove all devices and start from scratch not have to ring or emails yourselves to get it fixed! Sort it out co op at least make a user friendly website so we can manage devices from there!
