Delivery From the Pain:Survive

Honestly didn’t really know what to think of this game at first. As I progressed through the story the ads were a bad sign to start off, but I then used some of the ads for rewards and it payed off by providing some pretty good resources/weapons. I turned off my cellular data and WiFi and to my surprise, the game remained at the same point upon return. I LOVE the fact that this game is essentially an offline game. Being in the military, I don’t always get the best service, so when I find the time to myself to mobile game, I want games that I can play without a connection required. The gameplay is your standard survival, grab these items and make something from them, but you actually have to consider the 24 hr timeframe since the zombies gather in more numbers at night time. The combat system is easy and effective while still challenging due to the different types of zombies. To make the game more challenging, I would consider hiding blueprints or books that “teach” you how to build or make things throughout the looting. This way you don’t get too much up front from the beginning and the player will feel excited/accomplished when they finally find that blueprint they needed. Just please don’t leave that to the RNG gods lol nobody likes those guys 😂. That’s my only “advice” if you can call it that, otherwise fantastic game and I DEFINITELY will be purchasing the full version, which is a great price at $4.99! Great work guys and keep it up!

First off, I hate free games that use an energy system or paywall to get you to spend money so I never download free games. I’m a sucker for zombie survival games though so I downloaded it. Played for a few hours. It’s not an easy game but it’s not meant to be! I have to plan what I’m looking to build and prepare ahead of time before going out. This is very similar to This War Of Mine but with zombies and I’m amazed at the quality and amount of crafting to survive. The combat is fun too! No paywall. There are airdrops that can cost money or ads but they’re completely optional and not needed if you take the time to learn and prepare. Premium price gives you the full game and is incredibly worth it for the cost! I’d pay 3 times that considering that’s what This War of Mine is priced and this is actually more fun in my opinion. Get this game and support these developers! I can’t wait to see what else they come up with.

I really love survival games, but many times it’s just “survive” with no real story or mission. This one has a story which I am loving! I also find in other games that there is a paywall or it becomes too difficult to play. This game allows you to watch ads to help you out. I love that too! There’s no energy consumption when you travel, you just have to be mindful of your health, energy/rest, hunger, and mood. So far, there’s no dog yet like in the trailer video, but I am still in the beginning stages. There is also no dodge button when zombies attack. When creating weapons, there is no indicator of the weapon is slow or fast, and how much damage it deals. This would be a nice addition. When sleeping, cooking, or building, you should be able to look into your inventory or your characters health page to think about what you’ll be doing next. Otherwise, I’m just waiting. I also don’t think you should die or pass out when your mood hits zero. Update: There seems to be a point towards the end when you enter areas that require a mask. In these areas, little bugs keep sprouting up. After killing them, going thru a door, and then returning, they seem to wake up from the dead. It feels like a pay wall because they completely deplete your weapons due to how many there are. Good game, but at that point you’re just stuck. Update 2: Props to the devs for responding! :) That’s a good tactic for how to avoid the zombies turning into bugs. But it doesn’t help the areas I’ve cleared where there are only bugs now. Will update as I continue playing.
