Word Blitz ･

Big fan of this type of word game so i was excited to start playing this Some of the words that it allows are a little funky and definitely conjunction words. Sometimes i wish the board i get wasnt all vowels almost or 5 S’s in a line somehow. I really wish i was able to chat with the opponent that I am versing. I think it would add an amazing and more immersive experience to the game Also i wish there was an ad free version. Totally understand watching an ad for a free prize or opening a book - but i wish we could pay like 1.99 to get rid of the ones that appear after you finish a game Overall really great game but i would love to see these two updates happen :)

Update 6/22 - Sometimes I’ll open the app and the screen immediately opens into a game, like I have to start playing immediately without even seeing the opening menu. Also many times I will open the app and again instead of seeing the Home Screen I’ll be taken to show the results of another game. Why can’t it just alway open to the Home Screen? It’s stressful to have to sometimes begin playing without even a beat. And the “report a problem” link does not work. So I have to report the problem here. Please fix this, I’ve had this issue multiple times. Sometimes I just want to see if any games are waiting to play, not immediately begin playing upon opening the app. (Older review follows) Wish they wouldn’t have made the rotate button smaller and squeezed it into the corner. Plus, would be nice to be able to play all 3 games without having to wait for the other person. Fun but you can’t even report problems. Also, the game will randomly start games, why does it do this? I am not initiating these games but will open the app and I’ll be taken directly into a game with someone I don’t want to play with without even seeing the menu first. And it will always be with someone who I had a closed game with but chose not to play again.

I am very good at word search puzzles and games, generally. This game is addictive but it’s so frustrating when the board has a bunch of scrumbled letters with no known words in visible sight. The words listed, after i see my terrible score and had strained my eyes trying to make sense of the letter arrangements, are ones I’ve never seen or heard of and I just googled one that was in the last round I failed dismally in. Sallee. When I googled “sallee definition”, the word “sally” appeared defined and under It was “sallee in British English or sally noun Australian. 1. Also called snow gum… a SE Australian Eucalyptus tree. Eucalyptus pauciflora with a pale gray bark“ .. •”Saigas” (even Siri doesn’t know these words because she’s trying to correct my spelling) “a sheep like antelope of Siberia and eastern Russia having the nasal region inflated and the nostrils widely separated and in the male having Lyra the annulated horns and tufts of long hair beneath the eyes and ears.” That’s just two examples the list goes on and on. The game is in English, so why does it contain words uncommonly used and extremely known?? The only way I’d ever get these words is by accident. I’ve been holding back from reviewing but it’s getting worse and hard to play because it’s gotten to where I’m only finding words like “the” “of” “so” “too” “sea” etc. and it’s so very disappointing.
