We are quite regular visitors to the Walsall branch and quite often pop in for one or two items and end up coming out with ten or more! We had a problem with a cutlery set we bought a couple of years ago where by it lost some of it’s anodising. I went to replace it with done new items and the sales lady said the sets were on offer. I explained and she took my number for her manager to call me( sorry, couldn’t remember all the names) The manager called a few days later and wanted to see my old cutlery but due to my hectic schedule and a bank holiday I couldn’t meet up with said items. Instead I was asked to speak with Jean whom knew all about my issue and treated me in a very polite and professional manner and apologised on her behalf for me to take the time and effort to return my faulty items. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Andrew Smiles at the Boundary Mills Outlet in Shiremoor, Newcastle upon Tyne, yesterday, and I can’t speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I approached the counter for an exchange, Andrew’s professionalism and attentiveness were evident. He patiently listened to my concerns regarding my items and explained the exchange procedures with clarity and politeness. What truly stood out was Andrew’s proactive approach. He suggested several options tailored to my situation, ensuring I felt comfortable with my choices. Additionally, he went above and beyond to assist me with an app issue that prevented me from validating a 10% discount. His ability to listen with care and provide effective solutions was nothing short of remarkable. Andrew’s extensive product knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and confident demeanor clearly demonstrated his experience in retail. Thanks to his helpful manner, I ended up purchasing more items than I initially planned. In a world where great customer service can often be hard to find, Andrew is a true asset to Boundary Mills. Went in to walsall branch today with my mom. Went to open app.. asked for password thought maybe ok as had a new phone. Could not get passed the password bit. So mom used hers but hers was asking for password again. Asked the girls in the coffee shop it there was a problem with the app. They said “a few customers had but nothing to do with us, we don’t get told anything !”. I asked if they could report it to their manager as felt it might be a problem They said “no mangers in to tell”. So at the main till now pay for my £350+ of clothes .. mentioned again.. she said “you can’t down load the new app in the store you need to go home and do it!” Luckily for Boundary Mill I stayed and purchased my items ! Just home now and done the whole process again . No password reset space on the screen No email sent to re set ON BOTH PHONES. I love coming to boundary mill BUT the frustration of the app, the lack of staff empathy and making me feel like it was my fault has left me feeling we need to go and spend our money elsewhere. FINALLY I Counted over 200 signs advertising your app in the store . One on every table in the coffee shop, every till, every loo door . If you are going to promote an app.. make sure it works first! At the moment it’s sales prevention you have your marketing team to thank for.
