This app does what I want, namely allows me to journal my pain levels during the day (so I can record post injection pain in my hip), but…. (1) Date stamp on left side of data entries is centered in the middle of the text field. This makes it very difficult to tell where that entry starts and stops. The Date stamp should be on the first line of the text data (and there should be a blank line separating entries). (2) The Date Stamp needs to also include the Time stamp (maybe as an option), because when I’m journaling, things change quite often throughout the day. I need to know the time of that entry at a glance, but can only tell the time of the entry if I open that data entry for editing. (3) I know I could do this with a spreadsheet, but if I could add a few fields of my own, and give them labels (like pain level), then export all the data to a spreadsheet, I could create a chart of my pain levels. The app in general is quite a good fit for what I need, but would be more useful with the format changes mentioned above. Thanks for creating this little handy app!
This app is exactly what a was looking for. I’m starting to forget daily things that I need to keep track of and this tool is just perfect for me. I have ADHD and I need things/formats to be simple and without too much going on otherwise I get distracted and end up doing nothing of what I was supposed to do. This logger (I love the name, plain and simple and exactly what it does) is very easy to use and also has just enough colors so that you don’t get lost between the logs but also don’t get distracted by them (colors). I’ve been searching for something like this for a long time and I am very happy I finally found it! I also love that you can upgrade for not that much money! I highly recommend!
As much as we live in the digital world, note taking doesn’t have be. How often have you come across that task you forgot to do? Only to be reminded by a particular location or your house, your neighborhood, your work? How about if you see something that inspires you and you want to jot down some ideas? Today, I jot them down in one of the many note taking apps and literally time stamp and write descriptive location details. With Logger, I can type up a quick note and it records the location with date/time stamp. Logger is new but it works. It doesn’t need to be heavy and rich with all these bulky features. Looking forward to seeing this app grow.
