The app can work, but it’s very clunky. Disconnecting continually. Forced to have screen on? It’s 2025 and we have to have the screen on when using navigation??? A very big oversight for from the dev team. The app does not fully function with the latest IOS, because the bottom of the screen has an unusable icon which is covered up IOS functionality. I have reached out to support and they keep asking me for my VIN number which is extremely annoying. Why does my VIN number matter, it’s your app that has the problem!

The foremost issue is that the app/phone must remain open when using navigation on the tripper dash. It defeats the purpose of casting it there when I might as well mount my phone and use another navigation app. So if i want to put my phone away and purely use the tripper dash, I'll need to secure the phone in a place that won't accidentally change what app I'm using or lock the screen. Still, if i were going to receive something like a phone call on the iPhone, you can forget about it since that automatically kicks to the specific phone calling screen and it locks the screen anyway. Also experiencing connectivity issues between the bike and the app, which require me to close and restart the app. And when viewing/editing birthdays, it seems to be displaying base 0 instead of base 1. Not sure why they're storing/displaying the dates this way, since the birthday will always be off by one day. These two issues seem to be bugs rather than fundamental problems with the app design. The app is also pushing notifications for random events even after deactivating subscription to news and events.

This version of app is seemingly performing better than the previous one. But i have noticed it is also killing the phone battery faster than other apps as the app itself needs to be open after connecting to the bike tripper panel. Can you make the turn by turn route refresh frequency more accurate? I mean more faster ? Because it seems like if there are comparatively more alleys nearby , it sometimes shows me that i am crossing my preferred alley destination , and sometimes it shows that i am not there yet. So, if the refresh frequency for fetch data gets faster it will also be more accurate i guess. Otherwise everything is working better than the previous app.
