Bahama Eats: Food Delivery

I ordered from BE multiple times and I am very satisfied with the service and the communication with the drivers. I always get my food on time and I will keep using their services.

We ordered from their app 4 or 5 times during our vacation that just ended. All of the food was delivered promptly and most of the time, the drivers communicate with you get well. I did have an issue with one order - The restaurant called me to tell me they did not have one of the items I ordered available. The restaurant said there’s nothing they can do and said I needed to contact BE Support to get that item removed from my order, which I have now done 4 times and no one ever responds. Even the “live help” button in their app only directs you to Facebook messenger, where yet again they refuse to respond. All I want is the item the restaurant was unable to provide refunded, along with all applicable fees and taxes. It should not be that hard to simply provide basic customer support for a food delivery app.

Despite the fact that this app is called “Bahama” eats, and that it claims to offer a great selection in The Bahamas, it’s disappointing that its selection is only limited to Nassau. Nowhere on the app store or on the app itself does it say that it only offers its services in Nassau, but it is abundantly clear once you start looking for restaurants. I had to sign up and make an account just to find out that it is not available on my island, Grand Bahama. For the consideration of those who do not live in New Providence, I recommend that the app developers state this limitation either on the app itself or on the description in the app store, since it will distract us from apps that actually do cater to different islands.
