I’ve been using the Domino’s Pizza app for a while, and while it’s generally user-friendly, there’s one major flaw that I find extremely annoying. Once I choose a coupon, I lose access to the regular menu. This is frustrating because I prefer to order pre-made pizzas rather than building my own. It would be much more convenient if the app allowed access to the full menu even after selecting a coupon. Until this issue is resolved, ordering through the app is more of a hassle than it should be.
When ordering a pizza there is no option to order a half and half this is a common order and means that without it, the app is useless. When ordering Wings, they come with one dipping sauce per order; however, when you select a different flavor than what the app defaults to (Blue Cheese) you are charged $1.00/ dip even thought they should be included. I have ordered these many times and always charged $2.00 more per order because of this. All in all, the app is easier than calling an order in and dealing with a noisy pizza shop, but there is definitely much room for improvements.
I just love delivery and being able to order and paying online is great. Menu options is also great with lots of options such as pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, chicken wings, ribs among other items. I love the fact that the application keeps you updated with the status of your order. For instance, your pizza is being prepared, it’s now in the oven, it’s being delivered, etc. Just great.
