Newport Cliff Walk Audio Guide

The narration was clear and interesting. Added a lot to the long walk. The map and GPS location helped us. Used my phone with earbuds, which worked fine. My only minor issue was that the info was repeated at several sites. Would recommend this tour.

I was in Newport for a long weekend and decided to take a morning jog on this highly rated trail. I was very curious about the gorgeous mansions and homes along the route, so I downloaded this app and was not disappointed. It gave me all the information I needed (and then some) about the buildings and the landscape. I especially liked the GPS auto play, since it meant I could keep my phone in my running sleeve as usual. This feature even worked in airplane mode so that I could conserve battery!

My wife and I have walked the cliff walk 10 times in the past few years. We had some guests and we brought them here. I downloaded the app and listened to the first few points in advance. They were excellent. The stories were not too long, not too short. It did not overwhelm any of us. As we walked we were looking at the circle on the map. As soon as we go in it, the story started. The stories were so nice that a few other people also walked with us. Only suggestion I have is about putting more info about parking. Take a water bottle with you. Fully charge the battery. A lot of pictures can run through the battery fast.
