A Nice Evolution Of What the First Game Started

As someone who thoroughly enjoyed PP1 and just could not put it down (still play it daily to this day haha), I was a bit hesitant to get into PP2. I remember when I originally played it, I was underwhelmed because so much had changed from the first game and I think seeing how much they changed for the potions weirded me out a little. Then, a few months later, I gave it another shot and realized that I actually enjoyed the changes. No longer having to wait for bottles to fill up with potions, no cost to fill up the basins. Then, after REALLY enjoying making potions in PP2, I finished Peakwood Potions and… wait, each new area has unique mechanics?! It was at that point that I realized how much I had been missing out on by giving up on the game so quickly the first time around. Granted, the second area (the one with the squids) is not exactly my favorite, mainly because of the squid cooldown (granted, never bought the third upgrade because I was saving gems to unlock the shrouded area) and the fact that, unlike with the daggerfish in the first area, you had to tap the birds before you could drag the gem (this lost me combos more often than I’d like to admit), but I still liked that it was unique. Then I got to the third area and, so far, I am loving how innovative it is. I hope that each of the areas going forward continue to be just as unique!

Noice

I played the original game, and i really enjoyed it. Considering this, the 2nd game definitely sparked my interest. Right now i’m only on level 21, but this game is really fun and the progression system is great; you unlock new features and mechanics of the game as you progress from level to level. You also upgrade your equipment to counter the increasing difficulty of the game. I will say however that this game is absolutely NOT for people who are really slow and rational thinkers because this game will occasionally make you want to throw your phone because you did something retarded. The only thing i don’t like about this game ARE THE CORKS?!??!?!? WHY GAME?!?! WHENEVER YOU PLAY THIS GAME, YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF FUN UNTIL THE CORKS APPEAR. I FORGET ABOUT THEM SO MUCH AND THEN I HAVE TO RESTART. THE CORKS ARE SIMILAR TO A MECHANIC THAT WOULD MAKE ANGRY JOE SET FIRE TO HIS HOUSE. Otherwise this game is great man download it. Edit: As of now I'm on level 31, the difficulty rapidly spikes around this point and I feel that it is almost impossible to finish a level without leaving a customer annoyed (yellow). Even when you complete an order two more people approach you. This wouldn’t be that bad either but you have to balance this with the fact that people order three potions at once, large potions take longer to make, and the fact some order corks and ribbons on top of it all. I do have the furniture maxed out, and the essence pumps and containers maxed as well. Given all of this, there is 125 levels in the Peakwood Potions alone. I think the current difficulty of level 31 shouldn’t be encountered until about level 80 or 90. This has made me lose interest in the game some.

Cute Game

I absolutely love the first Potion Punch. It’s thrilling and I really feel bad for missing a customer or having to clean a bowl, etc. because it cost money to fill everything, and it wasted money when you mess up. The achievements are exciting and I actually like the voices because one of the elf noises annoys my husband so I love when that character comes around haha. The fact that you can continually play and not have to worry about “energy” to play the next level is great. You also could watch Ads for gems almost continuously if needed to reach achievements. This second game so far is nice. The animation is great, and I feel more connected with the workers and like that they level up when you use them. You can’t get free gems for watching videos, but so far, it seems like we don’t need gems as much as the first game. Hopefully this is still the case later in the game. I’m still in the first village. If it ends up that I HAVE to buy gems to basically move on in the villages, I’ll be a little sad. The mechanics are different than PP1, and the style of the game is almost like any other game with levels where you have energy to play the next level and cut scenes. When I’m playing, I try not to compare to PP1, since they are so different. So PP2 is a great game, just think of it as a separate game than PP1 and you’ll like it.
