I was ready to admit defeat with the app as I followed the instructions from the manual but it didn’t work. I found a video online where you had to be in front of the unit to press the display button 6 times. Here is the most important thing, press the mode button after pressing display 6 times. Once I did that it set up straight away. I think my wife will love this app as our air conditioner is up high and my wife can’t reach the buttons. Thankfully we have a remote but having the app on our phones or iPads will be so much better.

I purchased the dual hose portable ac and could never connect it to wifi. I went through all troubleshooting resetting trying old iPhone 5 and the ac doesn’t blink and it doesn’t show in wifi at all. I had this ac blink slow spontaneously twice throughout the past couple of months but it still didn’t show in the wifi . I have dual router and my ac is next to it (5ft away) . I think the ac wifi module is broken as I can’t get it to blink fast as described in manuals and it wouldn’t show in wifi. I tried iphone 5 iphone 11 pro ipad pro and iphone 12 and none is working. I emailed them months ago throughwebsite and never received response (covid issues) and the app doesn’t let me message till I choose the device— which I can’t do because I have trouble connecting my device to wifi— how crazy the customer support is. My warranty expires in about 2 months

Had no trouble setting it up with iPhone 12 Pro Max (Though it is not intuitive, non tech-savvy people may have issues) Chill Premier unit responds quickly. But WHY must I use the remote to turn off the rather bright display? That capability should be incorporated into this app. Also, Friedrich needs to bring back the website which allowed you to control your unit directly from your Mac or PC, or design a compatible app for desktops and laptops.
