Global City: Building games

Yes I would rate this game very high considering the amount of time I’ve been playing it for and the experience I’ve had. However, just a few small things I would like a change in. Firstly, I would like it if you could trade resources within your union, because I am forced to put items in the exchange and they might be bought up before members in my union can buy the item if they are something valuable, like slabs or aero blueprints. I would suggest something like the token exchange in the union. I would also like it if you could give any amount of tokens per transfer, and also request tokens more than once per 8 hours. It would also be nice to see some more events, and larger overall territory, more structures, and personally, another airport or a larger airport just because it’s one of my fav structures in the game. Than you devs please implement these changes as soon as you can! Definitely would recommend this game, but it will take some patience to get through.

I want to give this game more than three stars because it’s actually a very good game. It keeps you coming back with the challenges, races, and various other events. Building a city step by step and seeing the progress of each step is really nice too. It’s not as freeform as other city games, but that’s okay. However, the biggest problems I see are the amount of time it takes to do things and the amount of resources required to upgrade or purchase things. The amount of resources to purchase land in other areas once you hit level 50 is ridiculous. Some of the items are very difficult to get, let alone trying to have enough storage space to get the items you need to expand land while trying to expand your storage space, increase your income, and upgrade other buildings and facilities. Some of the building and facility upgrades require a ridiculous amount of event items or coins. Also, the amount of time to craft some items shouldn’t take hours to complete. All of that is no problem for people who want to sink money into the game because they can, but a lot of players just want to play a fun city building game that doesn’t feel like it’s more geared to those willing to spend money to grow their city at the rate they want to. There needs to be a balance of purchasable items for players who want to spend money to have more bucks and coins and the people who want to play it to work hard and earn the various awards. I feel like this balance is lost and it’s geared more to the people who are willing to spend money than the rest of the people.

Updating my review. Once you get to levels above 34, you need more than one carpenter, agriculture, electronics and any other building that produces products used elsewhere, or more than 10 slots in the queue. 2 hours for 1 rubber component restricts your ability to complete tasks, and it cuts down on users wanting to buy tokens, as the game takes too long to get stuff done. Rubber is then used in foam, another 30 minutes. There are other problems, but rubber is the worst. This is an excellent city building game, one you can play without having to pay. Of course, bonus items can be purchased to let you get done faster, but not like SimCity where you cannot finish the tutorial without buying something. I would rather buy things I want, than to be compelled. Things to improve: 1) no need to go into other player’s cities when buying something, slows you down; 2) show all 15 items for sale at one point, hard to get items are never there for those you must scroll for, but if they are in the first 5 and you are lightening fast, you can get them; 3) allow a 2nd carpenter building, even with all 10 queues purchased, the items take so much time and you need them elsewhere; 4) allow 4 more blocks to be enabled on the NE corner across the existing road from the short stub out road down to the river before the airport, providing room for all buildings and the 2nd carpenter building. Glad to see the contests for the unions, gives them some purpose.
