Click & Grow Official

The product itself seems great so far- well built and sturdy. But the app is simply lacking for the amount of money paid for the product. Much to be desired. The data on plants is not correct - the barcode does not link to the plants in the box. The timer for the lights has not been working properly and I can only connect to the device when I am in the room with it? With all of the inexpensive devises I can connect to over WiFi - I was hoping this would be one of them. When I am away or on vacation- I won’t know if the light timer is working or if the water level is low. The sensor battery came dead and getting the sensor to connect with the unit was very difficult.

I was admiring Zara (my newly named Basil plant by this lovely app), when I realized this device probably comes with an app based on its title of click and grow (I’m horrible at reading instructions) I am in love with this app! It has a lot of cool functions like letting you know the age of your plants, on top of in-depth descriptions of the plants scientific information. I was surprised to see such a low rating, but it makes sense with only 2 reviews before this one. Cheers and happy growing :)

What I was hoping this app would do: tell me not just about the seedlings but what conditions it would need once I plant it in my garden. But it doesn’t. Just tells me mostly generic or limited info. Make troubleshooting easier-I have never gardened before and this misses an opportunity to help me learn about common problems I might encounter with each plant type. Other frustrations: why have a water icon if it doesn’t tell you when water is needed? Its push notifications don’t get through IOS well so I only got notifications for 1 plant out of 8.
