Worth the wait! I was slow to get it out of the box thinking it would take awhile to figure out the AIRWAVE. Ha…. Plugged it in and it went right to work! I still need time to dial it in and have many questions but like anything it takes a bit of effort to get comfortable. Hooked it to a new iPad and the Learn Piano and AIRWAVE are working fine in the LEARN app. I think i botched the payment marriage to my learn app so I paid for a month to get it going after a year membership payment went somewhere but not on my account yet. I’m sure that can be sorted out as we go along. My next question to get answered does equator work on an iPad? I have it on my Mac. Can I just usb wire to the MACi Mini while the AIRWAVE is plugged into the iPad. Or should i only have it on one computer at a time.
It is absurd. Absurd. Preposterous. How. Many. Times. I have been asked if I’m enjoying myself. I’m on day one of this app and it interrupts me after every. Single. Two three minute lesson if I’m having a good time. No way to turn this off. If I say yes. It goes away and comes up again and again. If I say no would you like help or to give more feedback?!? Seriously. This is unacceptable and makes me not want to even do this. I’m on day one of using this and it’s making me incredibly frustrated. So now I’m stopping to review your app. Not that anyone I’ll care or make changes. You want me to give you my feedback and won’t stop asking me. So I will just give this and maybe your other potential customers can decide if they want to give perpetual feedback. I am a customer. I will get ahold of you if there’s a problem. If I’m not complaining take my positive review and leave me alone. I’m so peeved that in 2024 we can’t do better than this. Technology. Alllll the data on the app you have about my progress and usage. Yes. I’m enjoying it. But will I keep this and keep using it. Not likely if this pop up continues. Rant. Over. Until it asks me again in five minute. I’m annoyed.
I ordered this awhile back when they were having a launch promotion and just finally opened everything today. I was so excited. I do have some previous piano and other instruments experience, but mostly at a beginner level. First I tried the classic Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and whatever version they have on there is NOT the traditional Twinkle that most folks know, which completely messed me up. Why have a song that people can’t check what they’re doing by ear? I’m used to looking up and not down at the keyboard when playing and the colours make that difficult and the set up gives a very bad feel for what the timing of the song is. Itsy Bitsy Spider was also abnormally difficult because I just can’t get down with the LUMI app format. I am saddened, disappointed, and I am pretty sure I regret this purchase. I would have been better off with a simple beginner piano book and the keyboard I already have and continuing to be able to better check my playing by ear versus looking at the keyboard and the colours. Just. Disappointing. And this was just day one. Going to look to see if I can return this because it’s not going to work for this beginner piano student that already knows the basics. Something to keep in mind if you are already a playing beginner and think that this may help you. It doesn’t mesh well with more traditional training methods, in my opinion.
