I’ve been playing for a couple months and I just recently got my first payout of about $71. It really is a genuine way of winning money. There are free options to play every so often per day but you can also bet with your money for higher stakes, so there are options for everyone. I especially like the prizes that are given for accumulating knowledge points (points you get if you don't win $ on a the game) so that’s a whole other option even if you aren’t strong on trivia. Overall, well rounded and I expect to continue playing! Already referred 2 others and they like it!
Skilli has repeatedly asked me to update my review, so here’s an update. The 2.0 ver has been worse than the original. Prizes are almost not worth playing for anymore as they have all their money spread out between little useless games during the day instead of focusing it on the DMTs. The DMT main games which fluctuate in prize from 500 to 1000 sometimes 1500 when they could be more are still only 5 questions which is terrible. The effort into questions is out the door. Questions are often repeated, and 1 minor detail changed so that they can get away with making a true question false or vice versa. If you aren’t careful you will lose a lot of money on this app. Their leaderboards are skewed with false advertising. And they seem to be more focused on pumping their social media with silly videos and quotes instead of taking care of the actual app. All in all, for me Skilli has become unenjoyable. Not making nearly as much money as I was, the game is less of a challenge of knowledge and more of a good luck guessing these specific details of this show or movie or art, etc. I think it’ll be time to move on soon, more money for others who enjoy the app and less stress for me. There’s better out there anyways.
When I first started playing this game, it was a lot of fun. With a different category each day, notified a week In advance so you could prepare, the ability to change your answer before the time ran out, and auditory cues letting you know when the questions were being asked, it was actually one of the best trivia games on the App Store. While I did have to pay to play each daily game, I would win often enough to make it worth it. Given that the auditory cues are gone, the inability to change your answer, and that you now have to pay a fee to get paid once you won the money, it’s something that I’m going to have to delete. It’s one thing to charge you to play the game. It’s another thing entirely to have to pay a fee to get money that you’re owed. Stay away. Stay far away. If I could’ve given it zero stars, I would have.
