I recently purchased the Sutro monitor for my spa and began the setup today. Not being particularly tech savvy, I was experiencing difficulty in getting the app and phone settings, etc. correct to complete the process. I emailed customer care, asking a few questions and Jenna was quick to offer phone support. She called me promptly and was very helpful, kind and polite. Her directions were clear and easy to follow. She continued following me through the process until connectivity was obtained. What a relief! In addition, I asked Jenna a question regarding service that required a further answer from another team member. Within minutes I received a call from Jawad to address my question. Not only did he address that question, but during the course of that conversation he noticed my monitor was not sending a signal to the hub. With the same care as Jenna, he walked me through getting it quickly restored. Within a short time, my app was sending me test results in real time. I am impressed with a company that you can actually have a conversation and they care about helping you. Rare today! I am impressed with the app and monitor. Really cool system.

I purchased his product after comparison of a number of smart pool water monitoring systems, and decided to go with this one based on ease-of-use and the fact that it uses actual reagents for measuring various chemistry parameters. The device was a little complicated to set up the Wi-Fi connection, although this turned out to be an issue with my own iPhone as opposed to the Sutro app. However, customer service was extremely helpful and very attentive to my issues and got the problem sorted out very quickly. The device has worked perfectly since placing it in my pool, and I have found that the Wi-Fi hotspot within the charging station is quite powerful. I would highly recommend this device as it has proved quite accurate as compared to conventional water chemistry test kits. My only issue was that the testing vessel which floats in your pool was coming into contact with my automatic pool cover and I will be addressing that shortly by attaching the canister to the sidewall of the pool. Overall, I don’t think that anyone would be disappointed with this device and I highly recommend!

I have been a Sutro user since November 2023 and use it in a 1300 gallon swim spa. Early on, prior to getting Sutro, I used test strips to check the chemistry. What was lacking when I read the results was how much of what chemical was needed to get to the proper balance. With Sutro, it tells me what is needed and how much of what chemical to add. Sure, you can take a water sample to a national pool supply store and get results and recommendations but at what travel cost and your time? Full disclosure: on occasion, I have taken a sample to get tested and the results are very similar to the three that are tested by Sutro. The constant monitoring showing results three times a day, makes for peace of mind when ready to enjoy the next swim. The team at Sutro has been amazing in their customer support. As with any technology there will be some issues and Sutro is not exempt. My infrequent issues have all been resolved in a professional and timely manner.
