I downloaded and used this app as soon as I was told about it when I was first in the hospital with my daughter after she was born. I was looking at her every single moment of every single day non stop. And every time I would see her through the app I would cry happy tears because of my little bundle of joy being in the NICU. Only thing at the time that I was worried about what when the doctors took her after we arrived at the hospital was when they put her under the UV light but after finding out why, I understood that it was to make sure that she wouldn’t be sick and that she would be ok. But after they took her from under there, I was happy to have my little one. But I am forever grateful for this app because I got to see my little one whenever I wanted until we got out of the hospital. And I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t hang my bundle of joy☺️☺️☺️

This is a wonderful feature for those back home! My grandson had to be flown to UT shortly after being born at our local hospital, and Knoxville is two hours away from our hometown. His mom, my daughter, had to stay behind, due to just giving birth to him, and then she had a complication that she would need surgery for to correct. This feature, I believe, helped my daughter deal with the temporary separation from her son better than if she was not able to see him at all. Plus; it helped that her husband went with the baby to give her updates. The combination of the “Dad Updates “, and this wonderful feature helped pull her through. THANK YOU to whomever came up with this wonderful idea and brought it to life!!!

This is one of the best tools for NICU parents, and family to connect and feel connected to the baby and the care they receive. You feel better seeing baby when you are away and cannot make it to the hospital. This is a beautiful tool I wish I had when my children needed the time with all the NICU staff and time away from me when I couldn’t be there. The family chat is a nice option as well for those that may not be able to text or are unfamiliar with texting like disabled or elder members that struggle with technology. This is a great app and tool! I’m sure it’s only the beginning for many more improvements to come!
