I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m too young for a mammogram! So I began looking for an app to recommend to family and friends! They have apps for everything so why not breast exams. I love this app and wish I knew about it earlier which may have helped my situation… However, I tell all of my friends and family to use it so hopefully if they get cancer it is caught early. Highly recommend for every woman no matter the age because cancer doesn’t care how old you are and it’s happening to younger women!!!

I’m 40 and no one in my family has ever had breast cancer. A year ago I noticed an odd-looking patch of skin, and didn’t really think anything of it at first. A few weeks later, it hadn’t gone away, and I started to get that sinking suspicion… I googled, found KYL, and learned the 11 non-lump symptoms — I’d had no idea previously that there were other symptoms! *Because of this app* I made a doctors appointment to get checked — but, when I went in my physician did an exam and said that because he didn’t feel a lump, I was fine, and not to worry. My oncologist says the chances of a recurrence are very low because I caught it early. Cancer is awful to go through, but if you have to go through it your chances of successful treatment are much improved with early detection. The Know Your Lemons Foundation is a gift to all women.

Doing self exams is quick and easy with this app. It shows you what to look for, how to check, and even reminds you once a month to do an exam. Get it done, ladies!
