Ravenhill: Find Hidden Objects

I have been a devoted player, playing daily for over a year now. Our guild is in the diamond league. I have a computer analytics background and genuinely understand that with every update there will be unhappy people because people get comfortable and change of any kind can be disruptive whether the change be good or bad. That being said, I spend a GOOD amount of money because I genuinely enjoy playing this game. Seeker’s Notes used to be my go-to game until I was spending way too much time, money and energy playing that game... Which brings me to my reason for the 1 star review. I find it absolutely APPALLING that the MYTONA developers have decided to wait until the world is in the middle of a pandemic, to come out with this latest update. To switch from lives to energy is a sad money grabbing attempt at corporate greed. Knowing that everyone is home and having more time to play. While that is true, it is so wrong. Our guild alone has lost 6 players SIX since you came out with this update mere days ago. Which brings me to my next point. You waited to release this update until we had 2 days left in order of the lily quest and only updated for IOS devices leaving players in the guild unable to send things to each other. Please, for the sake of our sanity, right your wrongs and undo what you have done. You have wayyyyy more unhappy people than happy with this update. This is a good game, but you guys got this update so wrong.

Going from lives to energy is so unfair to those of us that have devoted so much time to this game. 15O energy! And expending 15 a whack just to enter a room - then those rooms that require passes also that’s an issue all it’s own! You are forcing those of us that are so good at this game to lose game time by using energy just to enter a room! You guys just hated so much that we weren’t using enough lives because we were too good at the locations and puzzles - I will be losing many in my Guild who are older players and may need 1 to 2 lives to get through a location - Forget it now it won’t be worth it for them - it’s sad that you make money a priority instead of appreciating your fans. Many find solace in this game - I place to forget about everyday problems and enjoy their friendships in the guild. And then there is the issue of gifting collection items - why do some of us have to reboot to find the item in the Friends tab - fix your glitches already - not to mention being bumped down in two locations from Virtuoso to Novice because you guys can’t get it right - This update has been the maximum in frustration! If you don’t get rid of this energy Catastrophe - I too will find another game with my new-found friends.

I love me some Seeker’s Note but my issue with that game is the fact that you have to use up energy. Of course you can just wait to replenish but that gets tiring and it just makes me not want to play the game anymore. Now this one, you don’t spend energy and it’s just lives which I love because essentially I could go on for a very long time without waiting for it to replenish. Yes there are some difficult levels in this game, but so far I haven’t lost one life and I started playing two days ago and I’m almost level 30. It makes you think and there’s so many options to collect the materials you need. Maybe I’ve played so many hidden object games that 90 second is more than enough time and the match 3 puzzles, well I’ve seen a boatload of those too lol. In any case I ask players to be patient, take your time, rage quit is frustrating trust me I know. But be patient join a guild, and ask for whatever you need. Your guild teammates more often than not help you out. It’s a great game once you give it a chance!
