You can say that my credit score needed a bandaid and I kid you not, within two months of using the metal debit card, my credit score actually jumped up by 47 points!!! I surely only expected the 5-10 points I got from other credit repair companies I have tried in the past so I felt it was well worth the time to recommend everyone else who is considering trying it out! Even if you have good credit already, this is still a great option to manage your money and protecting yourself online with the virtual cards, timer mode and being able to mark merchants as friends or foe to prevent them from taking any more money. I love the metal debit card too! This account is truly a unicorn!
I’m kinda torn honestly. I’d love to give Credit AI a 5-star review because I love the product. The metal card is actually cool, the app works great, I love the self destructing card feature and it did significantly improve my credit score which is the icing on the cake! What ruins it for me is the “News” section on the app which is so painfully and overtly bias towards the woke-left. I mean it’s really that bad! As a moderate-leaning Libertarian person, it’s hard for me to say that I support Credit AI. The app would be better off if they got rid of the News Section entirely and stuck to providing a credit card service. I honestly don’t care what people believe politically if they have a good product. I don’t know my mechanic’s political opinions and I prefer it that way. The app developers could have voted for whoever they wanted and do whatever they want with the money they make. I would be perfectly happy vouching for this app if I didn’t know the developers political opinion. But when the app itself is actively part of a campaign for something that I don’t support, I’m not going to support the app. If you do download this app, don’t take any financial or political advice from the “News” section. They actively spread misinformation about macroeconomics and biology. They also exaggerate and straw-man the viewpoints of the other side in order to sow division and outrage. If the “News” section didn’t exist this would be a 5-star review with only the first paragraph.
The card is just a card, I guess it’s a nice card but inconvenient to use anywhere that explicitly states they only take debit cards - this card will *always* run as credit in those situations. Not being able to connect to my other newer banks, super long time getting money into the account vs. my other banks. I guess the little credit bump is cool and I do get my paycheck a day early (sometimes) but honestly, I’ve had some weird stuff happen. They sent me a new card and disabled my current one before I had access to the new one, without telling me, while I was traveling. They told me to setup and use a stealth card, which is cool, but was really inconvenient to read off to people on my trip. I would have preferred for the old card to stay active until I activate the new one, I don’t really understand the precaution there. They apparently add additional fees to some purchases (like they add tip allowances to DoorDash purchases but don’t tell you anywhere that they do that?!) I haven’t had money go missing (yet) but the other reviews saying that they were locked out for no reason or had money literally disappear out of their accounts make me want to close this account and run for the hills. I did it for defranco and for my credit score but it’s been kinda of a meh experience.
