The layout is pretty simple and easy to navigate, some features like adjusting the length of a frame are pretty hard to find but other than that it’s fine. There’s no ads, so that’s pretty nice as well. Definitely has its problems though. There’s no autosave, so if you quit the app without manually saving your project, it’s gone. As far as I know there’s only one brush to use, and it’s VERY sensitive whenever you change its size, so it’s hard to get to a brush size you’re happy with. My biggest issue with the app though is that there’s no undo and redo shortcuts. I’m very used to Control Z and Control Y to easily undo and redo, but on here, you have to click the buttons to do so, which is really annoying. I’ve noticed that most of the reviews for this app date back to 4+ years ago and almost all of them mentioned at least one of the things I’ve listed, meaning that the devs know about these issues but do nothing to improve them. I honestly wouldn’t even recommend this to a beginner. If you’re just bored though and don’t mind doing things the mildly irritating way, then go ahead and try this out.. Wouldn’t recommend it for serious projects though.
I'm working on a big project right now and the app crashes every few minutes. This would be fine if it autosaved the progress, but you have to manually save it which causes me to lose all the progress that I haven't saved before. I can't even get one frame done because of this. Please add an autosave feature to this app. Then this would be the perfect (free) app to storyboard
Great app and ideas but there are some basic but very crucial feature missing. 1. Please add auto save feature so even if it crashes we don't lose our work. Should be that hard to do. You can even get rid of the save button; is unnecessary then. 2. Please add a way to copy-paste cut-paste for drawing items (nodes in your app) as well as frames (panels in your app). It would be great if you could add create duplicate from previous frame instead of blank frame which would be very very helpful. 3. In the list of tools, it would be great if we could add images, gifs or another movie. 4. Ability to set global default frame rate and not just let frame. Hopefully the author is taking suggestions from the users. Looking forward to your next update with at least #1 and #2 features. Thank you for caring this app.
