I don’t write reviews but this one is deserving of one. Let me say that for the point and shoot crowd other apps will work just fine but if you’re a exacting professional or pro amateur photographer that wants perfection then this app is for you.
For on the spot metering this app is about as accurate as my Sekonic 858d it’s off by a little but not much. The free version is all you need in my opinion as it don’t have a function to save metering values to average them out. For the most part a very handy accurate metering app.

When a developer offers a free version, it is usually for someone to evaluate before buying - try before you buy, so to speak. I understand that ads may be necessary to compensate the developer from those who never upgrade. But, this app has so many ads that pop up (and each ad takes MULTIPLE attempts to clear), that a fair evaluation is IMPOSSIBLE. The only way I could evaluate this app was to read the reviews. There are too many less than stellar reviews for me to be willing to spend money - including one that mentioned ads still came after the purchase upgrade that promised to remove the ads. I’m not willing to chance this app based on the reviews and the developer is not giving me a fair opportunity to evaluate.

Thanks developers for listening to the people who use this app! There was a recent update a couple months back that took away the spot metering function within this application, which was a major downside to the app itself. But I was using the app recently and tapped on the screen accidentally to pleasantly find out that they developers added the function back in! Big thanks to them again!

It will help you understand how to take pictures correctly and allow you to experiment with the settings in real time.
Nothing extra. Large and comfortable controls. And everything is in full view.
Capabilities:
- Selection of optimal shooting values in real time
- Ability to change and fix individual values such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, while the rest (not fixed) will also be selected in real time.
- Ability to take a preliminary picture and play with its settings. Let's say to see how everything would be if the diaphragm changed.
- Ability to save a snapshot with all parameters including geolocation.
