HAPO Community Credit Union

So I’ll preface that my rating would be 5/5, I’ve been a member of HAPO for almost a decade now, their service and app have always been great. With that said for the last 3 or so weeks the app has been utter garbage after a maintenance period that occurred. Since then I have to open the app 3-4 times for it to load properly to be able to see my balance or interact with the interface at all. There are sometimes where it can take upwards of 5 minutes to get the app to fully load properly to be able to do the business I need to do. So with that said my current rating of the HAPO app is 2/5 stars until this issue is fixed. My phone is up to date, so is the app, and my phone is last years model. There’s no reason it should be this difficult to access my funds. Once this is resolved I will restore my 5/5 review.

This is one of the best banks I’ve ever used. Easy to use online, through the app and in person. The bank associates whether in the call center or in person are very friendly and quick to respond and address any issues if they arise. I’ve absolutely had no issues with Hapo and definitely recommend.

Phenomenal app when it’s functional. Been using it for years and it’s always been great for tracking my account, paying my credit card bill and cashing checks. Nowadays though, I am more often than not running into a pop up that says “Application Error-We are unable to display your information at this time” whenever I try to transfer money to an account, pay my credit card bill, or even login. This is very frustrating as I live out of state currently and cannot go to a HAPO location in Tri Cities. Please fix soon or I’m afraid I may have to switch to a more local credit union in Texas, which I really don’t want to do. I love being with HAPO!
