I’m very impressed with the level of detail and the inclusive topics that are offered to someone like me — a visitor to an unfamiliar destination. Restaurants, sights, cafes, night life & entertainment, and more. A photo, narrative description, overall rating, accompanying map, and even reviews from others who have visited are included. Then a place to store & organize photos, plus a place to journal and make notes. This ap seems to be a wonderful resource for all travelers. I think we will really get a good amount of use from this handy little tool.

Very handy reference for our trip. I used the information frequently. The only problem was a little lag time for canceled flights, and flights did not update in the app as they changed. We needed to have the airline app to follow our various cancelations and reroutings. Although, while we were on the cruise, the app was excellent. I would recommend that the excursions each user signed up for be starred or highlighted, if possible. All excursions are listed, without indicating the excursion we were on already. We had to log in to My Avalon separately to review sign-ups.

We loved using the app on our Avalon Discovery cruise on the Danube. We were able to take pictures through the app and make notes about the picture. You hear so many details on the excursions that you forget if you don’t write them down. Not only that but there are maps In case you get lost-we did. It has recommendations for restaurants which we used and had a wonderful meal. Same for sights, events and shopping. It even has a currency converter. You can go back and add pictures and notes which is a wonderful advantage. Once complete, you can share via email or on Facebook . Nice!
