Fun but confusing

This experience was pretty fun for what it was. Nobody taught us how to use to app, like how you could scroll from each of the different things you could buy (like entertainment or shopping). It was fun yelling that I couldn’t afford a small house though. I also think that the hygiene table was pretty unrealistic bcus who is getting a haircut every three weeks. Also no period products booooo. I got myself a nice concert ticket while my husband and child played board games. I feel like there should be an option to say you want no kids or spouse — not to change the experience — but it was just not very emersive. Actually… Until I went home after school to see my entire family was gone and in their place was my supposed 4 year old son, trevor. I look to my right and see my good for nothing spouse. He looks at me like a sad puppy when he tells me he got fired from his job as a truck driver. His excuse is that he just couldn’t make the bus on time, and that I should’ve gotten him a car. I sigh but let it go until he hands me a white envelope. I got laid off from my teaching job and now were being kicked out of our apartment. Since our credit score was so low to begin with, it got even lower now. I’m currently homeless and surviving off of 7-11 hotdogs (i had to give up my vegetarianism to survive) My son trevor lost his left eye in an accident involving a truck that sped into us. It was my husband. He stole the truck, and now were on the run.

Nothing Makes Sense

For starters, it's a one use app used purely for assembly's. Why make an app to simulate what it's like to spend money if you can only use it a single time? Second, it never gave us the option to chose our occupation. Our spouse's occupation, sure, leave that one to chance, but life isn't a game of roulette where you land on a job and stick with it. Like, why would anyone choose to get paid $2,000 a month? Third, the family: Why not make it a choice? Some people don't want children or a spouse, and the child is way too expensive to take care of. Why not make both of these a choice, and if the app user wanted to have them, let them see by manually adding them in. Don't force them to get married and have a kid, that's just illogical. And finally, when it comes to some of the options for what you can spend your money on, why is it that all of it has to be mandatory? Why is it that you have to spend money in entertainment or decoration in order to proceed with the rest of the app? Make everything a choice as to what you spend your money on. Everything you spend money on in life is a choice. It's a choice to buy games, to buy a vase, to take your kid to an amusement park, but you don't have to do this in real life. Why do you have to do these things in the game? Overall this app is horrible at simulating real world experiences, and should require more thought, effort, and time in order for it to be even considered passable.

Propaganda Against Anarcho-Primitivists like myself

Very unrealistic and slightly biased against my lifestyle. For the past 3 years I have planned out my life after high school and this game doesn’t include ANY single part of my plan. For example, the housing options are terrible. Once I move out from my parents place i plan on living in the woods off the grid. But in this “realistic” scenario I am forced to purchase a phone, internet, tv, housing and clothing. However, after high school I will be living like a feral dog in the great American wilderness. I will not have clothing, nor will I be bogged down by something so useless as housing. Because of this I am led to believe that this app is some sort of propaganda to make it seem that we must live in society and must conform to societal standards such as clothing and money.
