THIRD UPDATE: still no change. I’ve deleted and redownloaded a handful of times and still freezes any time I try to favorite a place. I’ve tried emailing the help desk, but never received a response. As an investor, I’m pretty disappointed SECOND UPDATE: app stopped working again. Try to favorite a place and it freezes while also not recording the favorited place UPDATE: downloaded the app again and now it seems to be working perfectly! 3 stars to 5! App looks great! However, every time I try to heart a place, check in, look at a friends likes, or any other function, the app freezes and stops working. Only way to correct the issue is to end the app and reopen. Tried deleting and downloading again, but still freezes. THIRD UPDATE: app’s chat rooms are become negative and toxic. Too much rallying behind some drunk, washed up, has been that totally tanked the app. Don’t need a social media chat room. Need people recommendations. Think they lost their vision with the chat feature. Back down to 2 starts out of 5

I personally wouldn’t consider this a recommendation app. It comes off as a dumbed down version of Discord. Yes, it has a feature to “check in” & post your “favorite places” but it’s primarily a chat app- there are main chat threads you can use, then each one has a sub chat with a more specific topic. The app itself is very simplistic from using the search engine to the posting mechanics. There are only 2 items you can search, food or entertainment. There is a point system for daily usage, but I didn’t get into that. The chats are primarily the moderators and creators talking to each other posting prompts to get users to interact. It just personally felt forced and I had a hard time making a connection. If you’re looking for things to do over the weekend, they’ll have some events posted, but it’s not any other information you can get from already following local places on other social media. So as far as recommendations go, I don’t personally feel it’s an app for that- more of a social type base. I really like the idea behind it, but for me the execution wasn’t it.

I love this app! I live about 30 minutes away from Sac so I am not always sure where hot spots in Sac are. But with the Sircles app, I am able to see where all my friends are going as the Sircles app shows what locations your friends on the app favorite! One of my favorite features about this app is that when you are at a location, you can check in, allowing others to see where you are currently! This app is so fun and engaging, both socially and educationally! I look forward to encouraging all my friends to download Sircles, and you should too!
