App says 2017, but when you open you get 2016 dates and details. iPhone app appears to be correct year. In both apps, cannot click on artist’s address to show on map or get directions, greatly reducing value of app!

The Open Studios show guide app has been updated for the October, 2024 show. The interface has been improved, with easy access by name, number, medium from the front page. The map and more are available in a single click, too. And it is out and working smoothly almost three weeks in advance.
Note that if you have the 2023 version, it updates itself without even asking for a button click when you open it. Just be patient for a minute or two while it downloads.
One deficit still to improve: upon looking up an artist, you can see their address, but the address is not linked to the map. There IS A MAP button at lower left that will give you the map. Just touch that instead of tapping on the address.

Every October, more than 300 artists open their studio doors to the
public. Meet our local creatives, witness their artistic process and
buy direct. Open Studios is a FREE, self-guided, countywide art tour.
We invite you to experience the creativity of Santa Cruz County!
Click the Artists by Name listing to search by a specific artist’s name.
Click the Artists by Number to look up artists by their studio number.
Click the Tour Weekends listing to find out which artists are
participating in each of the three Open Studios weekends.
Click the Artists by Medium listing to locate artists who work with
your favorite materials.
Click the Studio Digital Map listing to see which studios are near you.
Click the Artist Demos listing to find out which artists will be
showing their process in action.
Click the Studio Accessibility listing to find out which studios are
wheelchair accessible.
Click the Mask Required listing to find studios where all visitors
will be asked to wear a face mask.
Click the ESP listing to find artists who can converse with guests in Spanish.
