Ocean Is Home: Survival Island

I have been playing this game about 2 years now and still love it. I like its simplicity that is just engaging enough to keep me coming back. I do wish they had a desktop version because I’m trying to take everything off my phone that is distracting. The other thing I wish is that they would allow the maps to update with more cymbals when you find a new area. Like the roads show up when you drive on them, the black gas powered teleportation cubes show up when you use them, and places like the gas stations show up when you enter them, maybe even an option to add resource icons to the map where you find them (these move a bit so that one might be tricky but I would still like that feature). Anyways I am leaving the app on my phone for now but am actively searching for a similar laptop game to replace it if they don’t eventually do a desktop version. But I am bound and determined to get the Turret at level 35 first. I’m on level 31. Wish me luck and if you are looking for a simple game that doesn’t have adds (best part in my opinion) definitely give this one a try. Oh and I am only on level 31 because I like to restart the game a lot so if you don’t do that you can get the the highest level (35 I think) a lot faster then I did.

This has probably been my favorite mobile survival game. Overall you had done a great job at making the experience of gathering resources to craft items immersive, however my only complaint is how difficult the zombies and hostile animals are. I don’t know if you intentionally did this, but the boars constantly follow you around even when you are far away from them and dish out a ridiculous amount of damage for the amount of health they have. Along with this issue the zombies seem to have way too much health compared to the player and also deal a unfair amount of damage. I genuinely would rate your game five stars if it was not for these issues. Side note: maybe you could have it so boars only follow you for a short period of time? I was not able to continue to play the game due to a pack of boars that kept on spawn killing me. Update: forgot to add that although the game is pretty fun the amount of resources it takes to craft items, even the simple stone tools and basic clothing, is beyond ridiculous. My second complaint is how buggy the crossbow is since animals are able to jump over the arrows you use. My final complaint is how stupidly fast deer are since you have to waste heaps of arrows to just take down a single individual. Second Update: still find the game enjoyable but you seriously need to tone down the damage zombies and other types of enemies do, it’s beyond ridiculous and is what ruins my fun. It has become a major issue with the multiple playthroughs I’ve done, please fix this issue.

This game is super fun. There are many things to do like gather resources, hunt wild animals and dangerous creatures, go to other islands, find structures that contain loot, and probably the most fun of them all driving the truck! However it needs a big update. The truck is fun for a little until it runs out of gas or something breaks. I have a problem with the motor oil, spark plug, and power transmission belts. The problem is they don’t last very long. It only travels a short to medium distance until one of the following items break. I was traveling in my truck on my way to my house on hornet island until the transmission belts broke. And I still had a little ways to go. And I was carrying many helpful items in the back. And I can Tell you the ride did not last long. I only made about 35% of the journey. If you could make the following items last at least twice as long that would be fantastic. Also can you add a way to make rubber I’m having serious trouble finding that item. Thank you for reading and please fix the truck.
