I have been using DDPai almost two years now and with my iPhone 6 it mostly worked. But now with iPhone X or possibly just due to the new software released the live video doesn't work, sometimes when saving recordings from the camera the video jumps to another location before the recording starts, all the time the app stops responding in video file browsing, playback, album browsing etc. One of the new firmware versions made the speed indicator to be several seconds late than before it was almost realtime. I have liked a lot of my DDPai M4 Plus and it has helped me to defend my insurance cases, but now I'm a bit disappointed with all of these bugs.

First, have to say that this Camera is really good it’s captures everything so perfectly and has clear clarity in day and night driving. I’m really excited to own this device and glad I bought it. The only big problem is the APP. It needs a lot of improvement on bugs and controls. The app won’t let me see any previews or live recording when I turn it on. I can take pictures and download videos without hesitation from the app but It also shows wrong time. It’ll be 1:00pm but show up as 3:30 am even though it’s day. Recording shows no speed limits I’m driving and I drive in imperial but shows metric. So I would love for this app to improve a lot more so if there is ever an accident, I would love for the DDpai to be the best camera for me and everyone else.

On our way home from our road trip we saw a road rage incident where a guy went across 3 lanes of traffic in front of a guys car to stop him and when they stopped the crazy guy got out with his gun screaming and cussing and we got it all on dash cam. But it happened right before we went into a new time zone. It was 3:00pm the with the new time zone it went back to 2:00pm and wrote over that hour when the crazy went down. That was the only interesting thing I caught on dash cam in six months and it got recorded over. In the frame by frame it shows a frame from the first hour and then a frame from the second hour of recording and so on but when you play the video it will only play the second hours video.
