I love that you can lock or unlock the door for a guest while you’re in another room. Also, being able to adjust the thermostat from the app is convenient. You can also issue a temporary passcode for a guest to use while visiting 😊 Cons: if the door jams, it will alert you in the app. Problem is if manually fix the jam, it won’t update in the app, you have to “lock” the door in the app for it to “fix” the jam.

This apps allows me to be extra lazy. From controlling the AC unit and door locks when necessary. That did I lock the door moment when I can easily verify on the app and make sure it doesn’t get to warm for my fur baby while I am at work or away. Definitely a major convenience, something I never thought I needed has become a major part of my daily routine 5stars!

This door lock system is incredibly convenient, especially as a renter. Being able to lock/unlock my doors remotely, provide temporary codes, and setup an auto lock feature are fantastic. Still, things could be even better. For starters, a toggled proximity feature that causes the door to unlock once the user is within a few inches of the door would be great. It could even work like modern car doors that have sensors to unlock with a touch when the keys are close enough. Also, I’m surprised there isn’t a watch app. Yes, it’s already convenient that I don’t need keys and can unlock my door from my phone, but why not from my smart watch too? That would make the proximity feature, mentioned above, even more reliable, as the watch is right on the wrist and could require a shorter distance to trigger. Overall, the system works great and there are other great features I didn’t mention. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t more room for improvement.
