This app is definitely the go to for hiking, you can download the map offline, it can track your distances and speed, and has a option to contact and hire guides if you need that. With combination of the phyiscal blazes, it makes visiting the areas very feasible. My personal favorite and one I recommend if you are up for a challenge is the Hovk-Hagistarian hike. It takes about 8-10 hours depending on your speed but it’s a gorgeous hike through beautiful Dilijan, finishing at the monstary. I also used it for parts of the Legends Trail down in the Goris region and other parts of Dilijan to, thanks HikeARMENIA team!

Very well designed and has excellent information and trail tracking to explore Armenia’s beautiful landscapes. I recently used the app to stay on course in Tavush and plan to continue to use it on future hiking trips around the country. I highly recommend this app to stay safe and get to your destination if you’re unfamiliar with the routes and want to hike without an official tour!

The app is a very useful tool for assisting in the preparation of a hike as well as conveying important details regarding the trail, duration, difficulty, and elevation of each hike. The descriptions of each trail guide the app offers is reassuring of their expertise and of the hikers’ safety. Overall, it’s extremely helpful and accommodating and offers a great hiking experience in Armenia.
