I found that it isn’t easy to find or is not there detailed information on checks and failures. It is not very helpful with information and the screen option and filters are too limited. I went to view failed checks and couldn’t find anything useful. The iPhone app is a waste but overall N-Able has a great product if you use their website.
We are relatively new to the “new” SolarWinds, or rather N-able platform and while some things seem to work well enough to have us move over from ConnectWise, there are some nagging basic things that just don’t work. Things like a very BASIC sync of their data to this iOS app, or the various departments not talking to each other, or even not all of their marketing PDF’s for endpoint protection using the name changeover. I’m in month six of a twelve month commitment and quite frankly, I’m a bit disappointed in the disjointed strategy.
We give SolarWinds now N-Able over $10,000 a month for the privilege of using their MSP tools. It would be nice if they could join the modern era and offer a companion app that works. Tons of things cause the app to crash, the UI is clunky, functionality is lacking. Please take these complaints not as criticism but as motivation to put some money into this aspect of the product.
