QuickClub

I’m Team Communications Manager for my team. I’ve relied on QuickClub in the past with little or no issues. No more. Ever since I’ve suggested this app’s use for our team this year, it’s been buggy. I try to open the app and get gray screen. Or, sometimes, the spinning “thinking” icon. Every time I want to op n the app, I need to uninstall, then reinstall the app, then shut down my phone and restart. Seeing as this app hasn’t had an update for over a year, maybe now is the time!!!!!

I manage scheduling for a sports club with 30+ teams and we use sportspilot for our scheduling. I love the idea that I can push schedule changes to all of my teams from sportspilot. Unfortunately the execution has been less than I’ve hoped for. Extremely slow to open, over 1 minute every single time regardless of whether I’m on cell network, Wifi, or both. App opens to Chat view but Chat view shows threads from multiple clubs; I have to click on Club Info then go back to Chat to see messages for that team. No ability to subscribe to the calendar. Club Schedule does not always show correct Sportspilot schedule even after the schedule has been pushed to QuickClub. This is huge. I cannot use this app for all of my teams if it won’t accurately update. At this point I will be looking for an alternative for my teams next season.

I don’t receive any notifications that activity has occurred. Causing me to miss group information, etc. When I reached out to support, I was told to “uninstall and reinstall” and nothing else, no other support. Now I’m stuck checking this app several times a day. Ugh! So frustrating when the point of this is to alert you when activity is present. Follow Up: I reached back out to support and still didn’t receive any support other than “check notification setting on phone” which of course I did (several times before reaching back out to them). My child has missed the first practice because we didn’t get any notification of things being discussed or scheduled. I have now set up three reminders on my phone titled “Check that Stupid Quick Club” that pop up on my phone in the morning, afternoon, and evening so that I can go in and check the app. Very disappointed in this app.
