First off, I’m an avid fan of sailor moon. I’ve been downloading and uninstalling this game back and forth for the past four or so years, it’s gotten to the point where I don’t even bother uninstalling it anymore and just go months without opening it. This game is so unnecessarily difficult at times, that it really makes it hard to enjoy. I could go days, or even weeks stuck on the same level and It’s a complete headache for a game that’s supposed to be for leisurely fun. The way the board is laid out in some level is just ridiculous, only leaving one or two matches before needing to be shuffled because of a lack of matches, which wastes a move and inevitably makes you lose and waste a heart. The amount of time it takes for a characters skill gauge to fill up is also a point of issue, as Ive literally forgotten what their attack animations even look like, considering I either lose or by some miracle beat a level before the skill is deployable. Also the array of characters unlockable through regular playing is, deplorable to say the least. Most of the outer sailor guardians are only available through special events, as are Sailor moons power ups. And you can’t receive event exclusive characters after their event is over. Honestly it’s still fun if you don’t plan on taking it too seriously and aren’t an avid fan of characters beyond the inner sailor guardians, but for me personally, it just isn’t very worthwhile
I love this game it's amazing. But I wish you would give us more time on events an make our hearts refresh a little faster. I have played every event an they are getting better at not being so ridiculously hard.. but I have never beat a single event but one. An that was Sailor V. I played the human Luna event just now since it was the most recent an I had one thing left she was right there. But I couldn't beat it.. I tried for 4 days, 4 days... an couldn't beat it. So I am really upset. I hope that in the future the events will be a little longer. Like it says it has so much time on it when it's time to end, but it ends at midnight. For example the human Luna event said it had 6 hours left at 10 pm my time.. at midnight it was over. I'm really upset. I worked so hard an all of the work was wasted all because I didn't beat one lousy stage. So please make them a little longer. An I hope all of the characters that have been out will eventually circle back around for those of us who haven't gotten them yet. Thank you. And I was wondering when the coming soon thing was going to come?
This game is a lot of fun until you get up to around level 80 or so. I began noticing an increase in the amount of times my game would have to "shuffle" after running out of moves. At first it seems like an additional obstacle and that part of the increase in difficulty would include a decrease in move options. However, I now end up with my game shuffling several times a game every game and sometimes with only one available move triggering another immediate shuffle. It wastes overall moves and often times ruins the entire game wasting a heart because it creates moves at the opposite end of the board from where you need to be clearing gems. I've even had the game shuffle after the first move which is ridiculous. If the game is set up for you to fail without paying for a power up, extra lives, or extra moves it ceases to be a game and becomes a waste of time as well as an obvious money grab for the developer. I'm all for a challenge, but it seems like the game is purposefully designed to get you in the habit of playing so by the time you hit the higher levels they can crank up the pressure for in app purchases in order to continue leveling. I find this tactic extremely cheap, obvious, and manipulative and I would personally rather pay for the app up front or even on a non phone platform and do away with the paid "power ups". Could be a great game, but instead has a very disappointing outcome.
