The ultimate retro game! I fondly remember watching my uncle’s play this on the TRS-80! I was a few years too young to play it myself and there was only 1 computer and too many cousins & uncles around. Didn’t matter, we all watched it in awe. My uncles would take turns each game. It’s great to revisit this (and win!) TY for this nostalgic space voyage!
I grew up on the Texas gulf coast in the mid 1970’s, a son of a NASA contractor. I remember playing a similar game on my dad’s computer prior to the Tandy game system, and the version you have masterfully recreated. I recall some differences in movement commands, but the same basic game. I also remember spending hours as a child, and the excitement when I finally beat the game the first time. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful memory. I look forward to spending time again (much older kid now) solving the puzzles this game provides.
I took the developer’s suggestion to treat it as a puzzle, having not played the original. It’s been fun puzzling through the operations. That said, I’ve played games of its type in the past and can see an authentic experience for those wishing to revisit the original. Have fun!
