TunesGenie Movie & TV Deals

I absolutely love this app. It does a good job of letting you know when your favorite movies or tv shows are on sale. The notifications are not always the best, but I can still check the app for up to date sales. One of the best apps in the App Store! If you love to build up your digital library, this is a must have. I’ve recommended this app to friends and family and co-workers many times and now I’m recommending it to whoever reads this.

I've used this app for years and bought tons of movies using it. I do appreciate the developer making an app like this. But it needs to be fixed. I dealt with the flaws in hopes of improvement. I think I've waited long enough. The prices are not accurate. It will show sales, but the movies are full price. I click on a movie and sometimes nothing happens. It's easier to look at the Apple TV store at this point and go through their sales section or search. I have around 1,000 movies through Apple, so I'm not saying this from a point of inexperience. I hope the app is improved, so I'll keep checking back in. But at the moment, it's too unreliable. Please fix these issues so I can continue supporting the app. I will update my review when I see improvements.

I was very excited when I found this app. I am someone who is always on the lookout for cheap on sale iTunes movies. I thought this app would have been perfect for me as it would have done all the work for me when it came to looking out for movie sales. Well I was very wrong. I’ve been on the lookout for the Harry Potter collection to go on sale, so I added the Harry Potter movies to my wish list. Well last night I was browsing through the discounted movies on iTunes because I was bored and sure enough, there was the Harry Potter movie collection on sale for $50, originally $80. The TunesGenie app did NOT notify me of the discounted price and I almost missed the sale thanks to their false advertising. Don’t trust this app. If there’s a movie you want for sale, you’re better off keeping an eye out yourself.
