A functional and reliable tool for traders and consumers
Super easy to use and quick scanning. I trade gold and silver on a small scale and get my gold from various sources so having this option to authenticate is worth its weight and gold (pun intended). 😊👍

hard to use
The scanning of the back is very difficult and confusing. I bought a 10-gram gold bar, I am very sure that it is genuine because it's from a trusted store. But why did the front scan pass quickly, and the back scan always fail? Is this a normal situation ?

Terrible security practices
My email address has a + in it, and whilst it let me register and verify that email it doesn’t let me login, the server returns a 400. I can’t register again because “this device has already been used to create an account”. I can only imagine that they’re not properly handling the + in the email address, which is extremely concerning. The alternative is that their API is down, which is even worse. Update: a + is a valid character in an email address. I’m not going to change my email address because the developers are too incompetent to comply with RFC 5322, what an absurd notion.
