Everything about Apmex is top-shelf, from the website to their stellar customer service to their app. The company was founded by some very interesting gentleman, and it has come to be a user-friendly way to jump into metal investing. No one knows what the future holds. For anyone or any country. I prefer to be prepared for the worst, and having a sufficient supply of precious metals could make the difference between navigating through a bad situation or being swallowed up by it. In the meantime, I have some beautiful pieces that have grown in value considerably since I began purchasing through Apmex in 2017. I fully expect that my portfolio of metals will pass to my designated beneficiaries with no need for me to ever sell anything. But, I may be wrong. A great company that is as easily navigated in the iPhone app as it is in the website on my desktop. Get started today with whatever you can afford. Buy gold as much as possible, because silver takes up so much space!
Mom a repeated customer, I have 2 accounts with them! 1 account I’ve spent about 3k on one and the other I’ve spent around 11k. If your looking for great Precious Metals and unique and even exclusive Precious Metals then Apmex is the place to look and buy! Not gonna lie to though, some have high premiums if you compare those with the same coin from other dealers that are a bit smaller then APMEX! But most coins that APMEX sells are priced right with a good return in your investment. Overall my experience has been great with them! The only thing though is that customer service over the phone a lot of them sound really rude and sound as if they don’t like their jobs! That’s the only thing they need to work on. The people I’ve spoken to so far which has been about 5 or 6 people, all have been really rude and when your done with what you called for they practically just hang up on you. That’s the only bad part about APMEX, is there customer Service needs more teaching on how to treat customers, especially loyal customers such as myself! Between both of my accounts I’ve spent well over $14k to $15k so I’d expect at least good customer service instead of rudeness. Other then that I highly recommend APMEX, it’s worth every dollar!
So far, Over all I am very happy with your service. I have not resold any items to you so that interaction is out standing. The reason I am writing this comment is you are lacking in my mind an important portfolio tool. The ability to add purchases from another seller is great, although I have not used it but I wonder if you can split the purchase from another seller between gold and silver, or is it one number for both metals? Sorry, I still have not gotten to the real purpose of this comment. I buy copper from you on just about every purchase, it would be great and very informative if you create a permanent copper category on the pie chart portfolio to track my copper purchases. Just like all the other metal purchases I make. Or, a less desirable solution would be to add copper to the list of metals bought from someone else. I realize that at this point copper is not a highly desirable metal to purchase, but I am reading more and more about the increase in uses for copper. I have given you four stars in satisfaction, but really your five, I wanted to get your attention to research this issue. You sell this copper product so it should be included in your portfolio. Another good example is you sell highly valued coins not for their silver or gold content but for their collectability. Maybe something could be done to have the buyer or you to develop a category on the portfolio chart to accommodate those types of purchases. Please think about how the portfolio tool can be improved. That’s the first place I go when I sign in. Thanks Howard Douglas
