Autolist - Used Cars for Sale

The most phenomenal used car shopping app ever the only thing I would like added is under the “Features & Options” tab the ability to select remote engine start as a filter. Another minor problem I’ve had is the “Filter by distance (nearest first)” has issues when showing what vehicles are actually nearest to my location, the first listing would come up 150 mi away and the next would be 50 mi away and all results are salt and peppered like this, hasn’t posed an actual problem yet but it worked just fine a few months ago, would like to see this fixed! Other than that it’s perfect!

I'm not submitting a negative review just to complain. I actually am trying to help! There's legitimate reasons why you should stay away from this company and other reasons you may stay with them. For every "pro" I found, there was a glaring "con" as well. 1) They have a wonderful selection and their database is incredible, BUT I have already called numerous dealers (actual managers or owners) and they don't know how Autolist got their info. They're stealing it directly from their website without dealer consent. No one from autolist contacted the dealer before taking their info from the dealer's website. So, data gathering is definitely (ethically) questionable at best. 2) The info that is taken from a dealer's website is fraught with errors. For example: dodge ram trucks have manual transmissions available through 2018. I have a verified 90% failure rate on autolist's algorithm to find the right transmission. Unbelievable. Same with other vehicles that still have manual trans as an option....ahem, cts-v! 3) Their error reporting does absolutely nothing. I reached out many times to the company both in California and Texas. Barely any response other than the canned "we'll look into it". They're desperate for new coders and developers but they seemed to have released this app much to early. 4) No way to contact the company directly. No phone. Only email. Asked to be called to discuss options for improvement. (again, not as a complaint but as help!) Nothing. They're obviously looking at bottom line dollars than building a good product first. Sigh. This company should be looked into for questionable biz ethics and basic app development. No, I don't work for them. No, I'm not a developer. Just Joe Schmoe looking for a vehicle for the fam. I just care a little bit more about how a biz treats it's customers. Update: still haven't fixed transmission issue. Sigh

This App is A Great Car Shopping App, It would be the best if it didn’t crash so much. Shows lots of car brands and listing in many locations with the option to even took for a certain year or trim of the car. Really good app but for me it crashes way to much to where it’s kinda annoying and hard to use. It literally crashes every time I Sher search for a new car and it leaves the app so I would have to go back into the app many times to just look at the listings I hope this app is fixed and it gets a lot better. I had this app for a long time now and not that many updates ago they seem to have took out a feature that was really helpful when it will tell you if are car listing you have saved had got sold. They don’t seem to do that anymore or even alert you if the price has changed. hope they bring those back. But overall a great app you will find the car you are looking for there.
