Where to even begin? I flew with this airline once for a college study abroad and thought it was alright, but since then my view has only soured on it. Immediately after I booked my flight, I was locked out of my account. My password, email, and Iberia plus number did not work. I tried everything I possibly could to fix it and nothing. Eventually, after 2 weeks of back-and-forth with their TWITTER ACCOUNT—the only place I was able to reach them with any reliability and speed (though props to their Twitter rep(s), they were very good)—it was fixed. I could log in and change things on my laptop. Now, it’s the night before my flight, I go in to download my boarding pass—and I’m locked out again. Same story. Maybe this would work on a laptop? Maybe it’s only the mobile app that’s hopelessly broken? Maybe, despite being an international airline servicing flights to Spain, it only works for Spanish customers? Who knows. All I know is that I look forward to the day I can delete this app and never look back. Oh! AND, despite 2 REQUESTS, the boarding pass doesn’t show up in my email. AND this is my second time checking in, since clearly the first one didn’t go through.

This app has a tremendous amount of glitches errors and problems that make your time trying to save time miserable! Today have spent well over 35 minutes to get my self checked in yesterday was exactly the same always “ error try again later “ As for example there is an opportunity to pay 619euros to upgrade to business I am more than willing to pay try to finish transaction and every time goes to error . I’m a frequent flyer with Iberia. They are the worst airline in Europe. Period. The service is non existent, they will literally hang up on you if they can’t solve your issue. They hang up on me and I have gold status with them. Believe me, if there is another option to get you to and from Spain take it. I would pay 30% more to fly with anyone else just so I don’t have to deal with them. Their planes are dirty and the staff obviously all hate their jobs. If you bring them some chocolates you get treated especially well but why should I have to bribe these a holes to be treated well. If you are flying from/to America fly American Airlines. They have 787’s which are way better than the A330’s and actually give a crap about their customers. That’s not to say you won’t have issues potentially but at least they acknowledge your existence. Do. Not. Fly. Iberia.
