My fire bug keeps sending me a notification every two hours , that my system still on even when I know is off , that is kind of annoying., how can this be fixed ? I even turned off the notifications setting on the app.
I can’t set up an account in the app as it does not send a confirmation number. The whole point to purchasing this was so we could control the fireplace via Alexa, but without being able to connect thru the app there is no use for this whatsoever. I also emailed the companies support contact and have not received any response yet. Can you please provide support to this app, so we can change our reviews of this product ? Following back up on this, I have updated the app and still cannot create an account. I also called the support line and nobody has ever answered. We still have yet to use this as intended. Can you fix the bug with the app or provide other instructions for connecting alexa to our flame tec.
First thing to note is that the app is push only. It does not know what the current settings are on the connected remote. It is also very slow to react. Setting the temperature sends a sequence that moves the temp by one degree till it maxes out and then backs it off, which takes time. Also can’t get the app to stay open to connect the wifi hub. Haven’t been able to use it yet because the app crashes during setup.
