My setup: rh Petersen apk11 burner kit, flame-tec firebug and flame-tec hub with firmware 22.0. Works great with phone and through alexa with iFlame pro skill. Note: I could only get it to recognize the firebug when signed in with full login name and password. The ‘sign in with google” option didn’t seem to work for me and alexa wouldn’t find the device. Once I figured that out, working great. The good: it works!, flame-tec support was very helpful The bad: alexa commands take 5-10 seconds to execute, so a little delay.
App is getting better with every update.
Unfortunately, this app offers no way to transfer the remote to a new phone, or to other members of your home. If you get a new phone, you will have to repair the device with the new phone. To do this, my fireplace had to be removed again to get to that pair button. This is a useless product. Please avoid! I am removing the devise and returning to the original remote. Such a disappointment and waste of money!
