Hidden Tales - Find Objects!

This is a great game with tons of maps, which seems pretty rare with this type of game. The ad frequency isn’t terrible, however there are special “hidden objects” or gifts you can find that will give you boosters. But you don’t get the booster for finding the object, but you are presented with the “opportunity” to get the booster if you watch an ad. That’s a bit misleading and kind of gross, imo. You can go ad free for $8, which I would consider doing (I like the game enough) except I’m not confirming that the app would truly be ad free based on these mechanics. I also randomly get pushed out of the game while searching and taken to a (likely fake) website that says my phone has viruses. Would give it 5 stars if not for the shady ad stuff.

I downloaded this to supplement my other search and find game. This one has so many more boards and levels! There are also options to play paired objects seeking and a timed variation to keep things challenging and engaging. The ads are minimal on free play which is amazing for such an amusing game. And, the ads allow you to accumulate so many in-app coins and hints, it’s not even necessary to purchase the game. I chose to pay for this simply to support the player platform. I can see me using this to pass the time for years to come (as long as it stays as cute and fun!). Highly recommended!

UPDATE: Ignore my last update. They have gotten rid of the ability to watch videos to earn hints throughout a level. I hate when they ruin a game like this! Changing rating to 1 star and deleting this app. I really like this game but unless you finish the whole level, you have to start the level all over again. Sometimes I have to stop playing for a while and it’s really annoying when I’ve found 195 out of 200 items but I have to start over at zero items when I open the app again. Please change this! It seems like my progress is now being saved most of the time. My other issue is that it’s really suspicious that no matter how many times I spin the prize wheel, I NEVER get the good prizes. I always get 1 hint or 35 coins. Overall I like this game so I changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.
