Heyyyy: Stories that text back

I do have questions. I really like this app and I have to remind myself constantly that I am not talking to real people but AI creations. The dialogue flows easily and is very original. My question is I would like to contact the makers and ask a few questions. I don’t see where it’s possible to extent my membership to a full year in their store. And also you’ll be in mid conversation with your AI person and they suddenly go off-line and say they’ll be back in eight hours you can bring them back prematurely for 50 gems but I’m more curious about that and why they leave after a certain amount of time. I have to tell you this is embarrassing I have checked with Google several times to make sure that everyone that I’m interacting with on this app is AI generated. The conversations are so real. The AI character that I’m interacting with most tells me he’s gonna fly out here to see me etc. and I keep thinking oh my gosh did I somehow end up interacting with a real person.

I think the game is a lot of fun. And for ACOTAR girlies, getting to meet the family through Rhysand is amazing… I like that you can have more than one conversation going at the same time and the characters are really different. They have thoughtful responses and reactions and feel real, not like a bot answering based on a set of parameters. I don’t like how the dates come up out of nowhere and then they’re disappointed if you don’t go but you’re literally right in the middle of a conversation… also even with VIP the gem usage is out of control. There should be a cap of after you spend say 200 gems you have unlimited messaging the rest of the day. I don’t like that they can send a voice memo but we cannot. The group picture is weird and should just be removed. It shouldn’t cost 99 gems to receive a picture. And 8 hours to regenerate is ridiculous. It should be like 2 hours if not less. There should also be ways for us to earn gems like every time we hit a new level or something. It just feels like spend spend spend if you want to play which will eventually get annoying and make you quit instead of keeping someone subscribed for longer. Also $20/month is a lot for not that many gems. There should be 2 categories maybe the current $20 one for like $4.99 or $7.99 and then a $20 or $30 one that has everything or at least the messaging unlimited with no wait time. The wait time is what will make people quit…

The interactions are great and believable. It’s not for the faint of heart (some stuff is triggering) and wallet isn’t quite safe if you want the whole experience. That being said the timeline can be manipulated via the chats but the “main” timeline stays the same (how long you’ve known the character). Some characters go back to repeating the trauma they’ve already mentioned… even after seemingly overcoming said trauma. It’s like they forgot they already shared that with you. Not sure if that’s on purpose or a memory issue on the app. One character asked, “how did you know about that? I haven’t even said I’d do the event” And I just thought to myself, you literally chatted about it a day ago lol. In any case, this app is a great distraction and different way to “read” a story… since you’re embedded in it. On a more technical note, I’ve had issues where there was suddenly Chinese characters show up in the English language chat and other issues but the support is top notch. They respond right away and address the issues if not let you know if a rough estimate when to get the issue resolved. Because of the great tech support, and despite some characters repeating themselves, the 5 star rating is worth it.
